Sort your photos, videos and documents by what is in them.

Pick a folder. A small AI on your own computer looks at each photo and video, and reads your PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and web files, then sorts them into folders you choose. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing moves until you say so.

Choose a folder to start

The AI looks at each photo and video, and reads each document, and groups it by what it shows or says.

Works in Chrome on a computer. Files the AI isn't sure about go to "Needs a look".

Customize your groups · rename them or add your own, such as a client

Name each folder and describe what belongs in it in a few words. The AI matches each file to the closest description. Add your own, for example a client.

How it works

1 · Choose a folder

Pick any folder on your computer, such as Downloads or a camera roll.

2 · See the groups

The AI looks at every photo and video and shows them grouped. Change any file you disagree with.

3 · Move, or undo

One click moves files into a Sorted folder. Not happy? Undo puts everything back.

Questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. The AI runs inside your browser on your own computer. Only a one-time download of the AI model, about 150 MB for photos and 25 MB more for documents, happens the first time.

Which browser do I need?

Chrome on a computer (Mac, Windows or Linux). It needs Chrome's folder access, which phones and Safari don't have yet.

Can it delete my files?

No. It only moves files into a Sorted folder inside the folder you chose, and the Undo button puts them back.

Can it sort documents like PDFs and Word files?

Yes. It reads the text inside PDFs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, text and web files on your computer and groups them by meaning, for example invoices, resumes or study notes. Documents it can't read or isn't sure about are moved into a "Needs a look" folder so you can go through them yourself. (Photos and videos it isn't sure about are left where they are.) Old formats such as .doc and .xls are grouped by file name.

Does it work on videos?

Yes. It looks at one frame of each video to decide where it belongs.

Tip: use "Move all to…" on a group, drag files between groups, or Cmd/Ctrl-click files to pick several and move them together.
